Getty Images is the one of the world's leading suppliers in the market for the provision of photographic imagery to advertising agencies, creative designers, publishers and corporates.
Mark Getty, chairman of Getty Images, approached Cartezia asking for our help in converting the company's broad strategic vision to change from an analogue to a digital business into an action plan with explicit goals and priorities. This plan had to set out clearly how the integrated company and its constituent parts would manage all the key components of the business, including:
- Customers and brands
- Sales and marketing
- Delivery systems
- Production
- Technology
- Purchasing and supplier relationships
Tasks we carried out include:
- Designing an organisational structure with a migration plan for how to achieve it
- Drawing up a process map clarifying roles and responsibilities within the centre and the operating units
- Identifying missing functions and competencies
- Developing a clear business plan identifying revenue, costs and investment targets for Getty Images and its operating components
