ActiveSky's technology enables rich media (video, high-fidelity audio and graphics) on handheld devices. It lets the end-user enjoy natural video and animation on their mobile device, without compromising on the quality of the media, ensuring sharpness of edges, clarity of motion, and text readability, even at relatively low bandwidth rates. The technology also boasts interactivity and object-overlay enabling capabilities.  

ActiveSky approached Cartezia for help in building a European partnership. We used our knowledge and relationships in the European wireless space to develop and execute ActiveSky's European strategy.

Key tasks included: modelling the European wireless content space; monitoring developments in the wireless device and developer space; monitoring the European UMTS auction market and the network operators' 3G roll-out strategies; developing the company's business model and positioning strategy for ActiveSky Europe; and building partnerships with network operators, portals and content providers.
